Hi I am trying to devolop arabic pdf using dompdf.As in the discussion forum its suggesting to install new font which supports arabic using load-font.php. The problem is that we are using a shared server and we dont have the permission to install new fonts.So can anyone of you suggest a solution so that these arabic pdf's can be generated without installing a new font. Ie with the help of any change in php file.

You don't have to install a font in the way you are thinking about it, i.e. As part of the operating system. 'load' the font into DOMPDF. You typically do this using the loadfont.php tool, but since you are on a shared server you probably wouldn't be able to install the ttf2ufm program that is required to process the font. You're not completely out of luck, however, as there is a test version of a web-based font prep tool.
