GT (Grilli Type) Pressura

Masculine and pleasant, GT Pressura is a professional and friendly font. It is to be used as the typeface for headings and captions within print and web collateral. For smaller portions of body copy GT Pressura may be used. While GT Pressura is most often used in headers, there is no prohibition in use for body copy. As with all sans-serif faces, adequate spacing between lines is needed to maintain legibility. The typeface is available worldwide in both PC and Apple formats.

History – Inspired by type stamped on shipping boxes, GT Pressura uses the visual effect of ink spreading under pressure as a stylistic device. The condensed sans serif alludes to a scientific background but with its rounded corners shows a soft and friendly side in larger sizes. Designed by Marc Kappeler (Moiré) and Dominik Huber (Moiré) from Grilli Type.

GT Sectra & GT Pressura. It was a lot of fun using Grilli Type fonts! ⇑ ISSUE 05 / pp.38-39 GT Sectra, GT Pressura & the first outing of Cindie Mono in the headlines of this article.

PT Mono - is a monospaced font of the PT Project series. First families PT Sans and PT Serif were released in 2009 and 2010. PT Mono was developed for the special needs - for use in forms, tables, work sheets etc. Equal widths of characters are very helpful in setting complex documents, with such font you may easily calculate size of entry fields, column widths in tables and so on. Opinion by Richard Baird. Links museum shop, a food and drink retailer and cafe housed within the National Gallery Singapore. These share a brand identity designed by Singapore-based graphic design studio Foreign Policy, built around the basic foundations of modern art and design; primary colour, geometric form and repetition, and Grilli Type’s GT Pressura. GT Cinetype is based on an engineer’s design for such a machine. A laser set the type directly on the film by erasing the coloured layer of the film. Our interpretation of that leads to a typeface with mechanic precision, but also a human element, that shows its personality in the details. GT Pressura in use. Released in 2012. Revised and extended with Cyrillics in Sep.

Usage

Do:

  • Use different typefaces together to create emphasis and a visual hierarchy that assists the reader with navigating your text.
  • Use fonts, weights, color and point size to tell a story.
  • Use plenty of surrounding white space.
  • Keep punctuation to a minimum. Visit our writing style section for more tips.

Do not:

  • Use all capitals in blocks of type of three lines or more.
  • Condense or expand typefaces.
  • Add spacing between characters.
  • Overuse emphases. Too much emphasis can have the opposite effect. If everything is emphasised, nothing stands out.
  • Substitute any variation other than those listed above.

Note: Brighton Grammar’s logotype is designed in all capitals. When written in text, the name should appear in uppercase and lowercase letters.

About GT Pressura
Inspired by type stamped on shipping boxes, GT Pressura uses the visual effect of ink spreading under pressure as a stylistic device. The condensed sans serif alludes to a scientific background but with its rounded corners shows a soft and friendly side in larger sizes.

About GT Walsheim
Inspired by the lettering of Swiss poster designer legend Otto Baumberger from the 1930s, GT Walsheim is a friendly but precise typeface. Unlike other geometric sans-serifs, it sports warm curves and wears a broad smile. This allows for use in both large and small sizes.

About GT Haptik
GT Haptik is a Grotesque typeface with a very special characteristic: Its uppercase letters and numbers are optimized to be read blindfolded and by touching them. Because of that its glyphs are monoline and geometrical. Optical criteria become secondary. This gives the typeface a weird but also very charmful touch that plays well not only in display sizes, but also for short text use.
